Ok...so after hanging around for a while, MAYBE you've noticed a slight..."obsession" with the beanie by now, huh? lol WELL...For those of you who are sitting there, scratchin' your heads goin', "WTF do these two chicks care SO farkin' much about a HAT for?!?!"... Here is a quick synopsis of "THE beanie" story: Late one night (the usual time of day that we seem to get all of our 'ideas'...lol), Kelly and I were online and stumbled across the beanie. We knew it was just...classic and we ended up sitting there for 20 some-odd minutes wondering "How corny is that??! Should we get it?" Altogether, it took maybe two or three days before we both said, "Ahhh...Screw it. Let's just get it."

From there, it practically took an act of GOD for us to decide which one to order, but once we finally decided on the black one...I placed the order immediately so we didn't get the chance to change our minds. Kelly & I already knew that the Penn State show was the next time we were going to see each other, so we decided to bring it with us...I started freakin' out because two days before the show, there was STILL no beanie in my mailbox!! It all worked out in the end because the DAY before I left for the show, I was holdin' the Flip beanie in my hands. ~phew!~ (LUCKILY enough, I even remembered to bring it with me. Penn State was a good 3 1/2 hours from my house in NY...and well...I sure as hell wouldn't have been turning around to go get it if I DID forget it...lol.)

Anyway. Long story short, we gave the hat to Flip. At first, we thought it may have been a little on the 'cheesy' side...but we still thought it was kinda 'cool' to find something like that with his "nickname" on it. I know that the man has a great sense of humor and has always been incredibly gracious towards us. I figured he'd be appreciative, regardless of what he thought of it, but never in a million years did I expect him to wear it as much as he has~!!! But... let me tell you. I'm THRILLED. It's the smallest and silliest little touches that really mean the world...
